The United States and Israel began launching strikes in Iran following a breakdown in negotiations over nuclear enrichment. The military operation killed Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with hundreds of civilians, including over 100 people at a girls’ elementary school in the southern part of the country.
Iran is retaliating by attacking U.S. military bases across the region. Four U.S. service members have been killed as well, according to President Trump.
