Some Iranians in the U.S. say they support the war to get rid of the violent Iranian regime. Others are not as hopeful, citing numerous examples of failed external military interventions for democratization of the Middle East.

Dozens of students and community members gathered at the Main Quad at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on Friday, March 6, to show their support for the United States and Israel’s attack on Iran. The event was organized by a community group known as UIUC Iranians for Revolution.
