Champaign County Executive

Two Democrats are running for Champaign County Executive, and there are no Republicans. Whoever voters elect in the primary will be poised to become the next County Executive.

IL-13 Congressional District

Incumbent Democrat Nikki Budzinski is facing one challenger from her own party, Dylan Blaha. Jeff Wilson and Joshua Lloyd are both running for the Republican nomination.

IL-02 Congressional District

Incumbent House member Robin Kelly is vacating her seat to run for U.S. Senate. A crowded field of Democratic contenders is vying to succeed her, including former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. and State Senator Robert Peters. 

U.S. Senate Candidates

10 Democrats and six Republicans are running to succeed outgoing U.S. Senator Dick Durbin.

Incumbent House member Robin Kelly is running for Senate, leaving a handful candidates running in the open race for the 2nd District.
