Assassins opens at Station Theatre in Urbana
Time: 7:30 p.m. (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows)

Details: Tony-winning Sondheim musical exploring the lives of nine people who all assassinated or attempted to assassinate a President of the United States. Content Warning: Assassins contains strong language, adult themes, prop guns, political imagery and themes related to gun violence, and the use of a racial slur (the n-word in one song). The production also may utilize flashing lighting effects, and projection media. Several performances are already sold out. More info.

Details: Woodwind performance by the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. A flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, and French horn help tell David Ezra Stein’s story “Interrupting Chicken.”

Sinfonia da Camera: Mozart Requiem at Krannert Center for Performing Arts
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Urbana
Details: Sinfonia da Camera concludes the 41st season in collaboration with UIUC choral groups. The program includes Beethoven’s Fantasy for piano, vocal soloists, mixed chorus, and orchestra, Op. 80, and Mozart’s Requiem Mass.
