Ladies Sigh No More
     Time: 7:00 p.m.
     Location: 18 E North St, Danville
     Details: KottrGrimm Theatrical Storytellers present Shakespeare’s most well-known heroines as they bring closure to their theatrical lives in this funny, fast-paced show. Performances also on Saturday, 1/18 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, 1/19 at 4:00 p.m.

Acting Out: Theatre Workshop
     Time: Various Sessions
     Location: Mahomet Public Library

Mountain Dulcimer Jam Session

     Location: Allerton Park and Retreat Center

Winter Wonderland: Crafts, Cocoa, and STEM

     Details: Enjoy free books, hot cocoa, fun crafts, and exciting STEM stations for kids. Free and open to all. Organized by ARIPI (Academic Resource Initiative for Promoting Imagination in Youth) and DCFS (Illinois Department of Children & Family Services).

24th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Countywide Celebration

Empowering Your Dreams: MLK Celebration
     Time: 11:30 a.m.
     Location: St. James United Methodist Church
     Details: Service includes music and a $6,000 MLK Scholarship presentation to a graduating high school senior from Danville. (Editor’s note: a motorcade/parade originally scheduled to start has been canceled due to the forecast of wintry weather.)
