On Friday morning, Democratic leaders in Illinois including Governor JB Pritzker, US Senator Dick Durbin, and ten members of the Illinois congressional delegation held a press conference to talk about potential cuts to Medicaid and healthcare in Illinois. They’re concerned about the Republican House budget resolution, passed about a week ago, that would include $880 billion in Medicaid cuts. The state says 3.4 million Illinoisans receive Medicaid, including more than a million children. Click here for the Live Stream.
