URBANA — Urbana’s Market at the Square’s 2025 season will get underway Saturday.
The market is moving from inside the Lincoln Square Mall outdoors to the parking lot at the corner of Illinois and Vine Streets.
150 vendors will be selling Illinois-grown produce, plants and flowers, farm products such as meat, eggs, honey, and fresh baked goods, according to a news release from the City of Urbana. The market also features handmade local art and crafts for sale and foods trucks.
“This is going to be another great season for Urbana’s Market at the Square,” Bryan Heaton, Urbana’s Marketing coordinator said. “Come on out and enjoy locally sourced fresh food, local artisans, engaging community groups, and everyone’s favorite food trucks in the area.”
The vendors at the market will accept cash. Many accept credit and debit cards, and some accept electronic payment. Customers wishing to use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits may do so by bringing their LINK card to the information tent in the north row of the Market.
The city of Urbana Market at the Square is a financial supporter of Illinois Public Media.
