Winter closings, delays, and e-learning days for Monday, January 6

Many schools will have e-learning days on Monday, January 6, because of the winter storm in Central Illinois. Several government offices are also closing for the day. Below is a list that will will be updated as more closures are announced.

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY

Champaign County buildings: closed

City of Champaign facilities: closed

Champaign Park District: closed

Champaign-Urbana Public Health District: closed

Champaign Unit 4 Schools: no school (already scheduled)

Developmental Services Center: closed

Parkland College: closed

City of Urbana: closed

Urbana School District 116: E-learning day. PreK-5 students should work on their learning packets. Grades 6-12 students should check Google Classroom for posted information or assignments.

Urbana Park District: closed

COLES COUNTY

Lake Land College: closed

VA Clinics in Mattoon: Delayed start – opening at 9:00 a.m.

DEWITT COUNTY

Clinton Unit School District #15: no classes (already scheduled)

MACON COUNTY

Decatur Memorial Hospital: Cardiac Rehab cancelled, Radiation oncology cancelled, and Outpatient rehabilitation (PT/OT/ST/Pediatrics) cancelled.

Millikin University: closed campus and normal operations suspended

VA Clinics in Decatur: Delayed start – opening at 9:00 a.m.

VERMILION COUNTY

Danville School District 118: E-learning day
