     Location: Multiple venues across Champaign-Urbana
     Details: This beloved festival brings live music, dance, and community to venues throughout the area. Highlights include Miguel Espinoza Fusion, blending world music with jazz and classical elements. The festival runs through Saturday, October 5.

12 Angry Jurors at Parkland College in Champaign
     Time: 7:30 p.m.
     Location: Second Stage (black box), Parkland College
     Details: A stage adaptation of the famous television movie 12 Angry Men. Follow 12 jurors as they wrestle with a life-altering decision, facing personal issues and high tensions. The play runs Thursdays through Sundays until October 13.


Friday, October 4

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 
     Time: 7 p.m.
     Location: Virginia Theatre, Champaign
     Details: This charming documentary-style movie features Jenny Slate as the voice of Marcel, a tiny shell who gains fame from a viral short but faces challenges in his search for his long-lost family. A heartwarming and funny film for all ages.

Evil Dead The Musical 
     Time: 7 p.m. (Also Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.)
     Location: Lorraine Theatre, Hoopeston
     Details: Kimmy stars in this campy musical adaptation of the Evil Dead movies. Expect humor, horror, and catchy tunes. This weekend only!

Youth Literature Festival Community Day 
     Time: 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
     Location: Campus Instructional Facility, Urbana
     Details: Bring the whole family to this celebration of youth literature! Enjoy author readings, book signings, puppet shows, live music, and art activities. A fun, free event for children and families.

     Time: 3-7 p.m.
     Location: Downtown Urbana
     Details: Celebrate fall with live music, professional pumpkin carving, balloon art, hula hooping, and fire dancing. A vibrant street festival for all ages.


Sunday, October 6

Organ Fairchild at the Rose Bowl Tavern 
     Time: 7-9 p.m.
     Location: Rose Bowl Tavern, Urbana
     Details: Groove to the instrumental funk sounds of Organ Fairchild, an organ trio from New York with a rock edge. A perfect way to close out your weekend with some serious musical talent.
