UPDATE: In-person classes resume at Danville District 118, no ‘credible threat’ found by police

DANVILLE – School resumed as normal at Danville District 118 Thursday after the district transitioned to an E-learning day Wednesday due to a report of a threat on social media. The school district announced early Wednesday morning that all district buildings and schools would be closed for the day, so police could investigate the matter.

URBANA – Due to forecasted high temperatures on August 24, some central Illinois school districts will be closed. The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued an Extreme Heat Warning.
