Danville District 118 shifted to E-Learning for the second day in a row as a bitter cold snap continues all over Illinois, but many school districts are resuming in-person instruction.
That includes Champaign Unit 4, Urbana School District 116, and Salt Fork Districts, who announced their plans Tuesday evening.
Temperatures dropped below zero overnight, but temperatures are expected to climb up again this week, according to the National Weather Service.
We are now on the other side of this cold snap. That doesn't mean tonight won't still be cold. It will. Wind chill values will once again fall to 15 below zero, prompting a Cold Weather Advisory. But, warmer days are ahead of us! Here's what the rest of the week looks like: #ILwx pic.twitter.com/hg0Yors6ys
