About Nidhi
Nidhi Shastri is an audio producer based in Chicago. She is a 2021 AIR Media New Voices Scholar and a 2023 NPR & WBEZ NextGenRadio Fellow. In 2024, she served as the inaugural producer of Dialogue — a program aimed at amplifying Black voices on Illinois Soul at Illinois Public Media. In 2025, she launched the limited series What We Brought, spotlighting immigrant narratives. Her passion lies in shedding light on immigrant stories and using audio as a means for education and social change.
