About Kulsoom

              Kulsoom Khan is the digital editor and producer for IPM’s newsroom and The 21st Show. Before joining IPM, she served as a digital content producer at WBBM Newsradio in Chicago and as a reporter and digital producer for the Times Leader in Pennsylvania. Her journalism career spans print, digital and broadcast; she has worked for News 13, MSNBC and PBS NewsHour and her work has appeared in the Associated Press, Voice of America and the Chicago Tribune. Kulsoom earned her B.A. in journalism from Penn State University and completed a master’s degree at New York University’s Reporting the Nation program. When she isn’t crafting digital stories, she loves to travel, paint and spend time with family.
