Have A TV At Home? Then You’re A Click Away From Keeping Your Children Schooled During The Covid-19 Pandemic

As a parent, you might be daunted by the role of “school teacher” while your children’s schools are closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Your local PBS television station is here to help!

Here at WILL, we broadcast more than 11,000 hours of educator-approved, researched-based children’s programming for Pre-K through elementary-aged youngsters.  Our programming schedule is available here.  Just by watching our ad-free educational programs, your children will keep up on their math, arts, sciences, literacy, inquiry skills, language skills, engineering and social-emotional skills and more.   And, if you watch with your children and talk about what you are watching, your children will learn even more.

Here is a sample of some of our programs and the their educational subjects: Peg + Cat for math, Daniel Tiger for social-emotional learning, Pinkalicious for arts and creativity, Molly of Denali for literacy and informational texts, Wild Kratts for natural and animal science and Let’s Go Luna for social studies.
