CHAMPAIGN – The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Freeze Warning for central Illinois, including Champaign, Danville, and Decatur for Monday 9:00 p.m.-Tuesday 9:00 a.m. Temperatures are expected to drop to near freezing. Meteorologists expect a hard freeze on Monday night as temperatures dip into the 20s. And there is a forecast for flurries or a snow burst, reducing visibility, that will trek across Central Illinois on Tuesday morning. Snowfall is expected to be under an inch.
