Dangerous cold in central Illinois through midweek

The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory through Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. Meteorologists say there will be bitter cold wind chills below zero through Wednesday morning over central and southeast Illinois. The coldest wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero are expected Sunday and Monday night. The weather service advises you to limit outdoor time if possible, but if you do travel or spend time outdoors, dress for the cold and have an emergency supply kit in your vehicle.
