CHAMPAIGN COUNTY– The National Weather Service ended its Winter Storm Warning for Champaign County and much of central Illinois Monday morning. The warning remains in effect for much of southeast Illinois.
On Monday morning, meteorologist Andrew Pritchard told IPM’s Kimberly Schofield that the snow was coming to an end in Champaign County, but winds blowing the snow around would still be a factor for travel.
On Sunday morning, meteorologist Andrew Pritchard told IPM News Director Reginald Hardwick he expected four to seven inches of snow across Champaign County, with near-white out/blizzard conditions possible Sunday night into Monday morning.
