WEATHER ALERT: Hurricane Beryl’s to bring heavy rainfall and potential flooding to Illinois

Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Champaign & Vermilion Counties Until 7pm

URBANA – The National Weather Service has placed central Illinois under a severe thunderstorm watch. The area includes Champaign, De Witt, Ford, Piatt, and Vermilion counties. Meteorologists say the biggest threats will be high winds, large hail, and frequent lightning.
