Snowplows are out across Illinois today. The Illinois Department of Transportation reports highways are totally snow-covered in the Decatur area, partly snow-covered in the Champaign-Urbana area and completely snow-covered in the Danville area. Many roads in northern Illinois and south-central Illinois are completely snow-covered.

Current road conditions from the Illinois Dept. of Transportation show highways in Springfield, Decatur, Champaign & Danville are now covered in snow. Map as of 7:00 a.m. via GettingAroundIllinois. Both Champaign Unit 4 and Urbana Schools 116 confirm they will have in-person classes today. However, there is no rural bus service.
