Risk of severe storm tonight and Tuesday in Central Illinois along with extreme heat

Central Illinois residents should be prepared for the risk of severe storms starting later this evening and lasting until Tuesday. Flooding and strong winds are possible, according to the National Weather Service. The beginning of the week is also expected to be hot and humid with temperatures as high as 99 degrees.
