The House passed a $1 trillion infrastructure bill over the weekend. The bill is projected to send at least $17 billion to Illinois for things like roads and bridges, airports, public transit, broadband access, and water infrastructure.

The University of Illinois Urbana campus has reported nearly 200 new cases of COVID-19 over the last week. That’s more than three times as many as the previous week and the test positivity rate on campus has nearly tripled over that period as well.
