  • The Champaign County Environmental Stewards hosted its annual Pumpkin Smash event Saturday at the Landscape Recycling Center in Urbana to put pumpkin waste to good use. 
  • The Fighting Illini men’s basketball team starts their season Monday against the Eastern Illinois Panthers.
