Friday, July 1, 2022

Today’s headlines:

  • Environmental advocates are decrying the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision made Thursday that curtailed the EPA’s authority to regulate carbon emissions.
  • Republican candidates in Illinois who support former President Trump fared very well in this week’s primary election. That may not continue this fall.
  • The Big Ten Conference will soon reach from coast to coast.

In today’s deep dive, we’ll learn how some restaurants are serving up Copi – known formerly as “Asian Carp” – as part of Illinois officials’ efforts to make the invasive fish more appealing to eat.
